Tai
Chi strengthens our internal energy & allows it to flow more freely. It
calms the mind & body, increases alertness and body awareness, and helps
develop concentration & deep relaxation.
Tai
Chi is recommended as a rehabilitation programme for back problems by
health specialists such as physiotherapists, chiropractors and
osteopaths.
All levels and abilities welcome, though this class
is best suited for improvers and those with some experience of Tai Chi
(at least 20 hours tuition). There is an earlier class, at 6.00pm, for
Beginners.
The
course runs from 7.00pm to 8.00pm each Monday and the cost of £60 covers
all tuition for all 8 weeks. A full colour book by the tutor, covering
the warm-up exercises and the whole of the Short Form, is
available at £4.95 from Waterstones/Borders etc.
