SLAM JAM - February-LONDON PRELIMINARIES

Slam Jam was originally created in January 2009 in Uxbridge, West London in pursuit to provide a platform for young people to exhibit their talent using a series of basketball events throughout the year. This has been done in conjunction with charities to evoke a positive diversionary for young people promoting diversification and flawless entertainment. We are about constant elevation, conquering obstacles and encouraging individuals to ‘Stop Dreaming’. If you love the game, the music, the lifestyle, the competition, the community, the energy- then there’s only one place to be. Our events bring together the finest in high-flying hoop action, vibrant music, pioneering entertainment and social awareness that aspires to nurture social diversity, social responsibility and positively impact the lives of thousands nationwide. N.E.E.T.S Young people and Full-Time Education students can benefit from this supplementary activity. The ‘Slam Jam’ project is run by Slam UK Expressions which is an organisation amalgamated of artists, sportsmen, designers, musicians, promoters and entrepreneurs brought together to utilize it’s talents for new creative and inspirational means. Some proceed are donated to the Haiti appeal.
