A Piano-Guitar-Vocal-Kazoo-Stompbox Duo steeped in the Barrelhouse Boogie Blues House Party tradition of 1930's downtown Chicago, Booga Red take you back in time, playing the songs of the early blues pioneers; Big Bill Broonzy, Tampa Red, Big Joe Turner; raggedy boogie woogie piano, riotous vocal and kazoo; rollicking blues guitar; music for dancing, drinking and carousing.

With outrageously authentic examples of fingerpickin’ guitar and honky tonk piano, Booga Red pay homage to the original innovators, and continue their legacy with new songs. Bringing their own big sound to the old blues and boogie that contained the exciting early sparks that fizzled and crackled and finally exploded, this is the Blues Roots of Rock'nRoll!
